What this service offers

Cardsmachines provides free payment checks, calculators and practical guides. If you want a personal review, Awais can discuss physical terminals and the solutions available through his role. He is available Monday–Thursday, 08:30–17:30, and Friday, 08:30–14:30 UK time. This is not a whole-market comparison or an independent panel of providers.

Pricing, eligibility, acquiring approval and contract terms are confirmed in an individual proposal. Using a calculator or submitting an enquiry does not open an account, bind you to a contract or guarantee a saving.

Start with a terminal quote

For a grocery shop, café, barber or repair garage, start with the short terminal enquiry. Choose your payment service and business type, tell Awais whether you already take cards, and select a monthly card-sales range (or “Not sure yet”). Then add your business name and preferred contact details. Business type is required; postcode and timing are optional. No statement is needed to enquire. Allow around 10 minutes for the initial conversation; any application follows separately.

How to prepare for a useful conversation

For an existing business, have an approximate monthly card-sales figure, total relevant payment costs and the reason you are reviewing your setup. Mention a second location, EPOS change, contract deadline or remote-payment requirement where relevant.

For a new business, describe what you sell, expected card sales, where payments will happen and the intended opening date. Estimates are a starting point, not a substitute for provider approval.

How our guides are produced

Cardsmachines uses AI-assisted research and writing, public provider information and original worked calculations. Guides link to their sources and show a source-check date.
